Deutsche Bank plans to begin Bitcoin custody services by 2026, partnering with Bitpanda and Taurus. The move follows four years of internal planning and 2023’s regulatory request. It aligns with the bank’s strategy to expand fee-based income and explore stablecoins and tokenised deposits.
